Travel by train from Frankfurt/Main airport:
every hour an Intercity leaves to Koblenz main station. From Koblenz there are buses and trains from Koblenz to Rhens.  Check times at DB ticket office.

Travel by train from UK
The Eurostar trains from London to Paris or Brussels connect with Thalys trains to Cologne.  From there, there are regular Intercity or local express trains to Koblenz.

Travel by car from Frankfurt/Main airport:
From the airport drive 10km on the A3 (Autobahn) towards Mainz.  At the Autobahn junction (Moenchof Dreieck) turn onto the A67 still following signs to Mainz.  After 8 km turn onto the A60, continue to follow Mainz signs.
After 41 km leave the Autobahn and follow signs to St Goar on the B9.  From St Goar, drive north, following signs for Koblenz,  alongside the river Rhine for 61 km to Rhens.
On entering Rhens, take the first exit from the roundabout and drive about 1km to the town’s two churches.  Do not follow the road to the left but drive through the stone arch into the market place.  Please drive slowly. You will pass the red and white half timbered Rathaus (old Town hall) and the Roter Ochse is 100 metres further on the left.
Alternatively, you may stay on the Autobahn by joining the A61 near the St Goar turn off and continuing towards Koblenz until you reach the Autobahn exit Koblenz/Waldesch. Turn off and follow signs for Waldesch/Rhens. Watch carefully for a small road on your right signposted Rhens. Turn right and follow the road to the outskirts of the town.  Once again watch carefully for a right turn after you cross a road brige. Turn into the town then right on to the Hochstrasse. Another 200 metres and the hotel is on your right.

Travel by car from Hahn airport:
From the airport drive 5 km and turn right on the B327.  After about 50 km you get to Waldesch. Watch carefully for a small road on your right signposted Rhens. Turn right and follow the road to the outskirts of the town.  Once again watch carefully for a right turn after you cross a road brige. Turn into the town then right on to the Hochstrasse. Another 200 metres and the hotel is on your right.
